Sports director of Sarajevo Senijad Ibricic he was suspended, by the decision of the Disciplinary Commission of FS BiH, for seven months after the inglorious end of the quarter-final match of the BiH Cup against Borac.
At the end of the match, together with coach Simona Rožmanon, Ibricic, dissatisfied with the refereeing, withdrew the team from the field. In the end, he was the disciplinarians imposed a sentence of seven months, and the Appellate Commission of the FS BiH confirmed that decision – just like the burgundy club with today’s short announcement.
“Football club Sarajevo has confirmed the decision of the Appellate Commission of the FS BiH on the suspension of Senijad Ibricic, for a period of 7 months starting from 29.3.2024. The club respects and respects the decisions of the FS BiH body, and in accordance with it Mr. Ibricic suspended from performing any duties within the club for the above period“, it was announced from Koševo.
Ibricic led the team in the moments when the score was 2:1 in favor of Borc, and at the end the match was registered with the official result in favor of the red and blue, who later reached the final of the BiH Cup through a double match with Široki Brijeg.
In it, Vinko Marinović’s team will cross spears with Zrinjski. The first match will be played on Wednesday at 18:00 at the Pod Bijelim Brijegom stadium in Mostar, while the second leg is 14 days later at the Banja Luka City Stadium.
