According to the prosecutor, Kendji Girac would have drug and alcohol problems: these would have played a role in the accident of which he was the victim.

Did the public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan, Olivier Janson, reveal too many details concerning the private life of Kendji Girac yesterday during his press conference? At least that is the opinion of those close to the singer, who himself was shot and injured in his caravan, during an argument with his partner.
“At the end of the press conference, we note that the public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan has decided to close his investigation as soon as possible, without any prosecution of any nature whatsoever. concerning Kendji Girac,” write the singer’s managers, Alban Travia and Hakim Nassouh.
And to continue: “We can only regret that he saw fit to disclose the private and family privacy of Kendji Girac who is a discreet and reserved man by nature and this without necessity in view of the current investigation.”
“These last few days have been very painful for Kendji Girac and his family and we ask the media who are now reassured about the situation to respect his convalescence time,” they conclude.
This is undoubtedly forgetting that this family context, exposed by the public prosecutor, explains the reasons which pushed Kendji Girac to accidentally shoot himself. Affected by his consumption of alcohol and drugs, the artist – who lied about the origins of the weapon involved in the accident – is also in a delicate period with his partner. Enough to lastingly disturb the image of the “gentle singer”. Which does not delight his managers, obviously.
