After a fatal accident in Freiamt: couple leaves behind children – cause of accident still unclear
It is a sad certainty: a couple from Rottenschwil died in the accident on Sunday evening. The children were still receiving psychological care on Sunday. It was also a stressful operation for the fire department.

On Sunday afternoon, shortly before 4:45 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on Mohrentalstrasse in Freiamt. A Toyota Aygo, which was driving from Bremgarten/Hermetschwil towards Rottenschwil/Aristau, crossed into the oncoming lane for unknown reasons and collided head-on with an oncoming truck. “The car came to a standstill in the adjacent field, severely deformed,” wrote the cantonal police in a media release.
