[China News Agency]On May 7, Russia held a general rehearsal for the military parade commemorating the 77th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War on Red Square in Moscow. A total of 11,000 soldiers, 131 pieces of modern weapons and equipment, 77 aircraft and helicopters participated on the day. This is also the last rehearsal before the May 9 Victory Day military parade.
In terms of the phalanx on foot, officers and soldiers from various arms of Russia and students from military academies formed 33 phalanx on foot to participate in the rehearsal. The cadets of the Nakhimov Naval School Murmansk Branch participated in the Red Square military parade for the first time.

According to the number of years since the victory of the Great Patriotic War, the air segment consists of 77 fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. Tu-95MS, Tu-160, Tu-22M3 strategic bombers and Il-78 aerial tankers, as well as “Doomsday” Il-80 air strategic command aircraft, MiG-29, MiG-31, Su-35S, Su-24 fighter jets and the Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57, as well as Ka-52, Mi-28N, Mi-24, Mi-8 helicopters and the world‘s largest transport helicopter Mi-26 flew over the sky.
