Moscow – How long the “special military operation” will last depends on Volodymyr Zelensky. “Until he gives in, we will have to go on,” says the Russian “fighting writer” Zakhar Prilepinmeeting Republic on his return from what he calls “a military and administrative mission” in the Russian-occupied Kherson region of Ukraine.
Former veteran of the war in Chechnya, award-winning author of books such as Sankja e The Monastery46, now co-chair of the Just-For-Truth Russia party, represented in Parliament, Prilepin led a battalion in the Donbass from 2015 to 2018 without ever regretting his victims and was therefore sanctioned by the West.
