Russian yellow TV, Putin’s speech interrupted: “Technical problem”

Technical error? Likely. Certainly an unexpected debacle. Russian state TV suddenly cut President Vladimir Putin’s speech at the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow, where he had spoken on the occasion of the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea. The abrupt cut of the president’s words was followed by patriotic chants. Something happened at the moment that can be used because the Russian president at a certain point just disappeared from the scene. Putin’s words were cut right in the middle of the sentence: “By pure coincidence, the start of the special operation was the birthday of …”. But at that point the figure of him disappeared from the screen.
