The dispute is about the 2016 film “Grimsby”, in which Rebel Wilson played the wife of Sacha Baron Cohen’s spy role.
And it is in connection with the imminent release of the autobiography “Rebel Rising” that the Australian actress Rebel Wilson describes her encounter with what she calls “a massive piece of shit” when she came to Hollywood.
After initially withholding the name of the alleged scumbag, Wilson on Monday came out and said it was Sacha Baron Cohen.

In a press statement which, among other things, The Guardian have reproduced, the “Borat” celebrity’s lawyers write:
«While we understand the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of “Grimsby”.
Wilson wrote on social media that she will not be “bullied into silence by expensive lawyers or PR crisis managers”.
The actress also claimed that she has been threatened with legal action.
