Scuderia Ferrari racer Carlos Sainz managed to become the winner Formula 1 (F1) Grand Prix (GP) Australia 2024.
The racer from Spain was three seconds ahead of his teammate Charles Leclerc who finished in second place. Meanwhile, in third place is McLaren Mercedes driver Lando Norris.
On the last lap, a terrible incident occurred when Mercedes AMG driver George Russell, who was in sixth place, had an accident which destroyed his car just before reaching the finish line.

Meanwhile, another Mercedes AMG driver, Lewis Hamilton, failed to finish this race. Hamilton left on the 17th lap of the 2024 F1 Australian GP after experiencing problems with his car.
Likewise with Oracle Red Bull racer Max Verstappen who failed to finish. Verstappen dropped out of the race due to problems with burnt brakes.
This result made Carlos Sainz successful in improving his performance after he finished in second place at the F1 Bahrain GP behind Max Verstappen.
“I am very happy with this victory. I am very proud of my team to be able to win again in this race,” said Carlos Sainz after the race.
Then at the F1 Saudi Arabian GP, Carlos Sainz failed to appear because he was experiencing health problems.
Next, the 2024 F1 GP race will take place at the Suzuka Circuit, on April 7.
