Sampaio Corrêa and Botafogo face each other this Sunday (10), at 4pm, in the semi-final of Rio Cup. The match will be at the Elcyr Resende Stadium, in Bacaxá, and will be broadcast by Band, Bandsports and the Goat channel.
The teams compete for a place in the final of the Taça Rio, which is the competition between the 5th and 8th placed in the first phase of the Campeonato Carioca, and which gives the champion a place in the Copa do Brasil.
During the first phase of Carioca, Botafogo beat Sampaio Corrêa 2-0. At the time, Glorioso was still led by Tiago Nunes.
