Santos Laguna denies criminal action by the FGR against Alejandro Irarragorri

This Monday afternoon Grupo Reforma announced an alleged criminal action by the FGR against the owner of Santos Laguna, Alejandro Irarragorriwhich was unknown by the same club and clarifies the legal situation in which they are involved.

“Given the information published about an alleged judicialization, of whose criminal tax process we have not been informed, about a tax case of the Santos Laguna Club, we allow ourselves to inform that, as always, we have complied with all the procedures and precepts established by current legislation. ”Santos mentions in his statement.

In addition to pointing out that they have not been notified of any criminal action against the institution or some of its representatives (Alejandro Irarragorri)the club clarified which trial they are involved in and refers to an administrative and not a criminal issue, this as a result of a tax return from 2017.

“The involvement of people in the process is due to the alleged administrative responsibility that would correspond to the Club, which in such case must be heard and defeated in court in administrative and non-criminal instances – against its representatives,” Santos Laguna clarified.
