Locations Affected by the Total Solar Eclipse April 8 2024

Quoting from the BMKG page, the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8 2024 will be visible in Mexico, the United States and Canada. In Indonesia itself, this phenomenon cannot be witnessed.

This is because Indonesia’s territory will be on the dark side of the earth or at night the Total Solar Eclipse phenomenon can occur.

There was an explosion in the Sun during the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8

According to the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), when the Total Solar Eclipse phenomenon occurs, explosions will be visible on the Sun. During the totality phase of a solar eclipse, the view of the Sun from Earth will be blocked from the Moon, leaving only the edge of the Sun.

It is on the edge of the Sun that is visible from Earth that the solar plasma can be seen exploding. BMKG explained that the explosion was likely caused by internal activity of the Sun.

This happens because the level of solar activity, which experiences ups and downs during the 11-year cycle, will reach its peak this year.

So, that’s a complete review of the phenomenon of the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8 2024. Hopefully it’s useful, detikers!
