Semen Padang succeeded in securing promotional tickets Liga 1 after winning 1-0 over Malut United in the second leg of the 2023/2024 League 2 semifinal at the H. Agus Salim Stadium, Padang, Thursday (29/2).
With an aggregate of 1-1 in the first leg, both sides automatically have to appear persistent in the deciding leg. Since the start of the match, each team played aggressively.

Next, Semen Padang will face PSBS Biak in the 2023/2024 League 2 final. This match will determine the champion of League 2 this season.
