Sepultura announced this Tuesday (27) the departure of drummer Eloy Casagrande, who decided to leave the band to pursue a new project.
From now on, the person taking over the drumsticks for the “Celebrating life through Death” tour over the next 18 months will be the American Greyson Nekrutman.
In its publication, Sepultura says that it was taken by surprise on February 6th when it received Eloy’s decision, “without prior notice or any type of debate about how to make the transition”.
About the new member, who will debut on March 1st, the band says: “Fortunately, the virtuoso American drummer Greyson Nekrutman will take over the role and will be welcomed as a new member of the band on the farewell tour”.
