Atalanta-Lazio, a match valid for the 23rd matchday of Serie A, ended on a score of 3-1 thanks to goals from Pasalic, De Ketelaere (2, one of which was a penalty) and Immobile (from eleven metres. With this result, Dea in 4th place alone with 39 points, 5 more than Lazio. Below are the votes for the protagonists of the match.
Atalanta’s report cards
Marco CARNESECCHI 6: match experienced essentially as a spectator, with the exception of the penalty kick in which he was pierced by Immobile in the 84th minute..
Giorgio SCALVINI 7: as always impeccable in defense, his offensive incursions are never lacking. In one of these, he created the winning goal for Pasalic in the 16th minute.
Berat DJIMSITI 5.5: positive performance, in central defence, however tarnished by the kick given to Immobile in the area which led to Lazio’s penalty.
Saed KOLASINAC 7: insurmountable wall and how many sprints in attack, in which at least a couple of dangerous long-range conclusions count..
Emil HOLM 6.5: comes close to scoring at the start of the first half by cutting away in the middle of the area. Along the right, physically, is a train.
From the 64th minute Hans Hateboer 6: enters the game with the right attitude. He can soon return the arrow of the right flank of the Goddess.
Marten DE ROON 6.5: as always, dark “quality” work, which gives balance in the Atalanta nerve center.
EDERSON 6: excellent mid-field geometries. As always, he doesn’t betray…
From 90’+2 Leonardo Mendicino: sv.
Matteo RUGGERI 6: along the left he exchanges the ball well with De Ketelaere and his teammates.
Mario PASALIC 7.5: He scores with a nice flying turn, offers his assists and communicates well with his teammates. Just a nice return as a starter.
Dal 79′ Rafael Toloi: sv.
Aleksey MIRANCHUK 6.5: unleashed on the counterattacks, he distributes lots of useful balls.
From the 64th minute Gianluca Scamacca 6: takes the man away well in Atalanta’s many counterattacks.
Charles DE KETELAERE 8: eye-catching performance. First double in Serie A (after the one against Sassuolo in the Italian Cup), sole administrator of the Atalanta game and literally overflowing physical-athletic – as well as psychological – conditions.
Mister Gian Piero GASPERINI 8: on a day with many 0-0s and with a few too many soporific matches, his Atalanta is a team that travels at the pace of the Premier League and which is a pleasure to watch play. The excellent results are only the direct consequence of this attitude.
Lazio’s report cards
Ivan PROVEDEL 6: some good interventions in a late afternoon in which he was hit with balls.
Manuel LAZZARI 5.5: not his best evening. On the right he never manages to break through.
From the 46th minute Lu. Pellegrini 5.5: he is unable to provide the right push requested of him by Mister Sarri.
Alessio ROMAGNOLI 6: in the first half he was the protagonist of at least a couple of excellent finishes. But he preaches in the desert of an anesthetized defensive department.
Mario GILA 6: cumbersome and late on every mark. His replacement at halftime is inevitable.
From the 46th minute Nicolò Casale 5.5: he struggled a lot to get into the game. Atalanta, from the waist up, continues to do what it wants.
Adam MARUSIC 4.5: in addition to the wide arm with which he provokes the penalty converted by CDK, the Montenegrin is constantly harassed by the lunges of the Nerazzurri players opposite.
Matéo GUENDOUZI 6: earns important fouls, unlike his teammates he goes at a different pace, but then – during the second half – ends up throwing in the towel.
Nicolò ROVELLA 5: a warning and few connections between the departments. Disappointing performance.
Luis ALBERTO 5.5: just a free kick with which he grazes the crossbar. He plays very nervous and it shows.
From the 69th minute Matias Vecino 5.5: his low rhythms clash with the gallops of this Goddess.
Gustav ISAKSEN 5: little can be seen up front, neutralized by the Atalanta rearguard.
From the 64th minute Pedro 6.5: one of Lazio’s few truly positive players. He delivers a splendid ball to Immobile’s head in full injury time.
Valentin CASTELLANOS 4.5: ectoplasm. Up front he practically doesn’t touch the ball.
From the 64th minute Ciro Immobile 7: enters, earns the penalty which he then converts and scores the brace (and the 200th goal in Serie A) with a header on an assist from Pedro.
Felipe ANDERSON 5.5: performance without a common thread up front. He also ends up in the meat grinder of a team performance essentially to be forgotten.
Mister Maurizio SARRI 5: team turned inside out by Gasperini’s Atalanta, much more brilliant in every respect.
