65-Year-Old Woman Discovers Chilling Truth About Her Real Parents
Teresa Weiler, a 65-year-old British woman, always knew she was adopted, but it wasn’t until she was 24 that she decided she wanted to know more about her biological parents. According to her story, her childhood was happy and loving, but she knew very little about her biological family.
It wasn’t until she held her newborn nephew that the desire to know more about her ancestry became urgent. “Cradling him in my arms, I was overwhelmed with love,” Weiler said. Realizing that she wanted to be a mother herself, she first needed to know about her family’s medical history.
This led Weiler to start an intense investigation that would ultimately unearth a dark family secret. “I asked social services for my adoption records,” she said. Her main concern was that her biological parents might have had an illness that could affect her future children.
After waiting for seven months, she received a notice that her adoption records were ready for her to review. “I sat alone in an office and looked at my file, very nervous,” she recalled. It was there that a simple prayer changed her life forever.
