Supermodel Linda Evangelista once roamed the catwalks, she walked side by side with famous models, such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford, and then she encountered depression, which was the cause of one wrong step, or rather a failed cosmetic surgery. Her main weapon – beauty, remained in the shadows…
That’s when she put an end to her career, and due to swelling and thickening of fatty tissue, as well as a change in appearance, she began to hide from the public eye. She only recently spoke publicly about her struggle when she posed for the cover of the fashion magazine Vogue.
The night before last, at the Met Gala event, she walked the red carpet of the Metropolitan Museum in New York for the first time in almost 10 years. She was last seen at a prestigious fashion event in 2015. She wore a white dress by the fashion house “Khaite”, which actually consists of two parts – a puffy blouse with a fold and a white floor-length skirt, while a classic white bag with a golden detail added a touch of glamour. For an added touch of elegance, she opted for white gloves.

The green earrings made of 18-carat gold and containing 91 carats of tourmaline and diamonds attracted the most attention.
“When I saw them, I almost died,” she told Vogue and explained her fashion choice: “It’s so dreamy and light – it’s light as a cloud. I feel so comfortable in it and I’m really, really, really happy.”
