Sky Airline promotes its loyalty program with magic at more than 35 thousand feet – Turiweb

by admin

Under an unprecedented event on a flight from Lima to Santiago, 140 Sky Airline travelers enjoyed an impressive show by the renowned Chilean magician Jean Paul Olhaberry, who surprised the passengers with attractions, prizes and the news of the arrival of the SKY Plus loyalty program, which rewards public loyalty with a series of benefits, to continue flying with Sky.

During approximately 20 minutes of flight, Jean Paul was introduced by the captain and carried out three events in which both crew members and passengers participated. One of them was a recreation of the participatory act that he presented at the Viña del Mar festival last February.

Passengers participated using 4 cards with which Olhaberry proposed an intriguing challenge: breaking each card into four parts, resulting in eight pieces, choosing one to keep in his pocket. Then, he instructed to crumple and throw the remaining cards into the air one by one. The surprise came when he took out the saved piece, mysteriously coinciding with the last piece in his hands, forming a single card.

The initiative generated a lot of expectation among those present, as Jean Paul is recognized for his unique ability to entertain and dazzle large audiences. In 2022, he won the “Escapist of the Decade” award for recording a static apnea record of 07:41 minutes, after remaining submerged for nine hours in a container of water. Earlier this year, he set another record by performing a magic act in front of a crowd of 15,000 people at the Viña del Mar International Festival, and he has broken another record by performing a magic act at more than 35,000 feet in the air.

The illusionist also performed predictions of the future and challenging mind games with cards. Three lucky passengers, who participated as volunteers, were rewarded with incredible prizes: a double ticket to an international destination along with 5,000 SKY Plus points, another double ticket to a domestic destination and 5,000 SKY Plus points, and finally, 20,000 SKY Plus points. These points will grant them a wide range of benefits through the SKY Plus platform, SKY airline’s new loyalty program.
