Sofia Richie is pregnant with her first child with her husband, Elliot Grainge. The 25-year-old model hid her pregnancy for months. Now, it is known that she is expecting a girl. The news was revealed in an interview with “Vogue Weddings”.
“I found out very, very early, when I was about four weeks pregnant. I was traveling to Milan for fashion week and was going to the Prada show. I felt bad during the flight, but I didn’t think much about it. I thought it was jet lag,” she said in an interview.
Upon returning home, and before a night that would involve alcohol, she decided to take a pregnancy test, as her period was late. When “a thin line” appeared, Sofia asked her husband to buy three more, so she could compare. “He was so excited,” she recalls.
All tests were positive. The model says they both cried and that it was “crazy and overwhelming.” Elliot Grainge tried to contain his wife’s expectations at all times. Only when the pregnancy reached eight weeks did they share with their parents, mentions a “Vogue”.
Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge were seen in public for the first time in January 2021. In March of the same year, they made their relationship official by publishing a photograph on Instagram. They married on April 22, 2023, in Antibes, France.
