Spain, Madrid vote polls: Ayuso wins with 43.7 percent, will need Vox

by admin

The outgoing president of the autonomous region of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayuso of the Popular Party, would clearly win the regional elections, according to Rtve polls, with 43.7% of the preferences, for 62-65 deputies equal to more than double the 30 obtained in 2019.

However, to govern by overcoming the absolute majority (69 seats) he would need the 12-14 seats that the extreme Vox party would obtain. The left bloc would stop at 56-63 deputies, while Ciudadanos would leave the local Assembly having not exceeded the 5% threshold.
