Sporting Cristal had a dream debut against ADT at the Alberto Gallardo stadium, on date 1 of the 2024 Apertura Tournament. Enderson Moreira’s team showed its entire hierarchy and crushed the ‘heavenly gale’: they beat it 6-2.
Martín Cauteruccio (39′, 56′, 63′) was the great figure of the match after scoring a hat trick in his debut with the ‘beer’ shirt. And they joined the celebrations: Martín Távara (51′), Santiago González (68′) and Ignácio Da Silva (73′). The Rímac team reacted in time because they started the match losing with a surprise goal from Víctor Cedrón. Janio Pósito (90+7) scored the second of the penalty visit, but nothing more could be done given Cristal’s superiority.
Thus, the ‘bajopontinos’ added their first three points and their next clash will be with Sport Boys next Sunday, February 4 at 4:00 p.m. at the Miguel Grau stadium in Callao. While ADT will receive Cienciano on Saturday, February 3 at 1:00 p.m., venue to be confirmed.
