The legendary TV entertainer, who left the public eye almost ten years ago, announced in a humorous way Instagram-Videoswhich many initially thought was an April Fool’s joke, made his big comeback – with (another) boxing match against former boxing world champion Regina Halmich.
“The Final Fight”: When Raab gets into the ring against Halmich
“The Final Fight”, as the fight is titled, is scheduled to take place on September 14th in the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf. Bad news for everyone who would have liked to attend the event: the tickets were sold out on the first day. The tickets went on sale in advance on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 – the cheapest ticket was available for 81.50 euros, the business seats cost 252.50 euros. It remains to be seen which TV channel the fight will be shown on. RTL had already expressed interest.
Raab’s new TV show
Raab also has his finger in the game when it comes to TV this year – although not in front of the camera. Raab’s new production company Raab Entertainment announced a daily broadcast as part of the European Football Championship. “The RTL EM Studio – All games, goals, emotions” is moderated by Jan Köppen and Raab protégé Elton and will be shown from June 15, 2024.
„TV Total“
Last but not least, there is of course “TV Total” – the show that Raab created and moderated from 1999 to 2015. Sebastian Pufpaff has now followed in Raab’s moderation footsteps. “TV Total” can be seen once a week – every Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben.
Raab’s Instagram announcement
Raab’s Instagram announcement probably came as a surprise to most people. His channel has been around for years, but the entrepreneur and television producer hasn’t actually posted any content yet. But that could change soon. The reel he posted says that he could imagine a career as an influencer. In the approximately 90-second video, Elton can be seen finding Raab sitting on a boat on an island in the middle of mountains and forests – his former boss is fishing there and having a good time. Elton tries to convince him to finally do something again. “Here are you! You’re just skin and bones! Everyone is looking for you!” His withdrawal from show business took place in December 2015, and apparently there is little that interests Stefan Raab enough to draw him back in front of the camera.
