Passion and culture, Sunday 4 February 2024, from 9.00 to 19.00, meet for the second edition of StraGulp, at the Cortile del Maglio, in a suggestive setting of very Steampunk Turin.
The event, with free entry, will range across the pop culture panorama with the participation of prestigious guests from the sector. Associations, artists, writers, an opportunity to share ideas and knowledge, but also for personal enrichment for enthusiasts or simply curious people. A set of initiatives that the curator of the event, Manuela Macrì, wanted to bring it to life, creating an important meeting space in which everyone will be able to listen to many curiosities, news and behind the scenes from the voice of the various interpreters. The event will be enriched by the market exhibition where you can find collectible comics and new releases, gadgets and Action Figures, Pokemon cards and retro games.

A day that will be followed live by Radio GRPyes Mercury Comics web radio and hosted in the conference space by the magazine World Japan which will address the topic of censorship in Anime. We will welcome beginners and they will be paid attention to by the publishing house Afcreative, present at the event. A very important moment will be the twinning between the event StraGulp and the Fair”Souls at the Fair” which takes place in Saviano in the province of Naples, with the Artistic Director Maurizio Nataloni. You will also have the opportunity, during the day, to participate in workshops, game sessions, themed events, meet and greets, and signing copies with the authors. It will be a fun experience accompanied by the possibility of expanding your knowledge of this wonderful “nerd” universe, in which art, culture and socialization mix.
Instead of a desk, and more precisely in the 16/17 area, there will be a small space dedicated to meetings where guests will come to talk about their experiences. They are all people who have offered themselves, who believe in the goodness of the event and to whom I am and will be grateful. The choice was motivated by the desire to try to add something more to the previous edition. Mercury comics and grp will support the visibility of these presences interviewed by Fabio Valerio.
