Handel og Kontor (HK), Parat and Negotia have since Sunday mediated with Virke about this year’s salary settlement. If they do not agree by midnight, thousands may be taken out on strike.

That’s what NTB writes.

Mediation with national mediator Mats Wilhelm Ruland started on Sunday at 10 a.m. The mediation is taking place as a result of HK on Thursday 11 April breaking the negotiations on the renewal of the collective agreement in the Landsoverenskomsten (LOK) with Virke.

– We have used the time well since the negotiations broke off on 11 April, so that we are well prepared for constructive negotiations within the framework of the front line, says Virke director Bernt G. Apeland to NTB.

Building materials stores, grocery stores and duty-free shops in particular are affected if there is a strike.

These shops and companies in Nordmøre could be affected by the possible strike, according to HK’s overview above the first withdrawal:

  • Coop Mega Storkaia
  • Extra Surnadal
  • Extra Kristiansund
  • Extra Sunndalsøra
  • ATTENTION Build Kristiansund
  • Maxbo Kristiansund Prof
  • ProffCom AS department Kristiansund
  • TESS Nord AS department Kristiansund

In addition, HK Norway announces that they will withdraw their members from TRN at Oslo Airport, Flesland and Værnes. Thus, duty-free sales will be able to close at these airports.
