Levine became the first Swedish prime minister to be removed by a vote of no confidence during his term. Levin said at a subsequent online press conference that day that the government will have a week to decide how to deal with the recall crisis, and he will negotiate with other parties to achieve a smooth transition as soon as possible. Analysts believe that after Levin is removed, he will face two choices: dissolve the current government and nominate a new prime minister by the speaker; or announce that parliamentary elections will be held within three months.
