Blockbuster Sahur Movies Trans TV tonight, Friday (5/4), will broadcast Geostorm (2017) at 01.45 WIB. The film stars Gerard Butler, Jim Sturgess, and Alexandra Maria Lara.
Geostorm is a science-fiction film which is generally set in 2019, when various natural disasters have destroyed the Earth.

The following is a synopsis of Geostorm on Blockbuster Sahur Movies Trans TV.
This condition prompted an international coalition to initiate a climate control satellite system called Dutch Boy.
After Dutch Boy successfully neutralizes a typhoon in Shanghai, China, a US Senate subcommittee reprimands the project’s main architect, Jake Lawson (Gerard Butler). Lawson is said to have activated Dutch Boy without permission.
He was replaced by his brother, Max (Jim Sturgess) who worked under the United States Secretary of State Leonard Dekkom (Ed Harris).
Three years later, a UN team stationed in the Registan Desert discovered a frozen village.

At the same time, an engineer working at the International Space Climate Station (ICSS) was killed. His death is believed to have been the result of a planned accident.
After convincing United States President Andrew Palma (Andy Garcia) to investigate the case, Max persuades Jake to go with him to ICSS.
However, the condition of the Earth is increasingly showing concern. In Hong Kong, the Dutch Boy satellite actually increased the city’s temperature drastically, causing fiery tornadoes and the collapse of several skyscrapers.
Jake arrives at ICSS to check on the satellites which are problematic, damaged, and have had their data erased. This makes Jake and Max even more suspicious.
At the ICSS office, Jake works with station commander Ute Fassbinder (Alexandra Maria Lara) and her crew to retrieve the dead engineer’s hard drive.
They managed to obtain the hard drive, and discovered that a computer virus had been infiltrated into the system, causing malfunctions and removing login access from key parties on the satellite.
Suspicion began to lean towards President Palma who was suspected of using Dutch Boy as a weapon. Jake tells Max that he needs to restart the system to eliminate the virus, but requires the destruction code held by Palma.
Geostorm is a science fiction work directed, written, and produced by Dean Devlin in his feature film debut.
This film stars Gerard Butler, Jim Sturgess, and Abbie Cornish. Apart from that, this film is also enlivened by Alexander Maria Lara, Ed Harris, and Andy García.
