Trans TV Cinema tonight, Friday (2/2), Knives Out (2019) will be broadcast at 21.00 WIB. The following is a synopsis of Knives Out, starring Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas.
The story of Knives Out begins with the death of a mystery novel writer named Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer). On his 85th birthday, the wealthy writer died suddenly and mysteriously.

Police believe Harlan died by suicide. However, an anonymous figure sends private detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) to investigate the case.
Harlan’s extended family, which gathered during the writer’s birthday celebration, became a suspect. They have to testify in front of detective Blanc who is known to be brilliant in investigating complicated cases.
All members of the Harlan family who came later spoke to Blanc. They explain their respective versions of the chronology and where they were on the night of Harlan’s death.

Blanc also explored small clues that emerged in their confessions, ranging from the closeness of family members to Harlan to odd gestures when the detective asked questions.
Almost all family members became tense after Blanc’s interrogation. Because the private investigator succeeded in uncovering the bad relationship between this family member and Harlan.
They also have their own faults which are in danger of being exposed because Blanc has exposed them. This makes the family members even more anxious and they look for ways to get rid of the detective.
On the other hand, Harlan’s nurse and caretaker named Marta (Ana de Armas) was also questioned. He is the only person who finds it difficult to lie because he has a tendency to vomit if his words are not truthful.
Marta is also a key figure because she is the last person known to have met and interacted with Harlan before he died.
However, the situation became even more confusing when Marta (Ana de Armas) apparently made a mistake that caused Harlan to overdose.
