The inauguration of the new headquarters of Targa Telematics, a company dedicated to the development of digital solutions and platforms for connected mobility, was held yesterday evening, March 26th.
Targa Telematics, following the recent acquisition of Viasat, has decided to move the Turin offices of the two companies and bring them together in a single shared headquarters, with the aim of sharing corporate culture and skills, facilitating integration and the exchange between the two realities to be protagonists of the mobility of the future. The new headquarters, a recently renovated 3-storey Art Nouveau building in via Tollegno 16, is located within the Barriera district of Milan, at the center of important redevelopment and revitalization projects in the area.
It was initially used for the production of sweets, and was then the headquarters of Lavazza until 2009. In its approximately 4,000 m2 the building will house around 200 people, divided between the commercial management, the technological and Research & Development departments, and operations and logistics with warehouse, and help desk. Employees will have at their disposal offices, meeting rooms, a conference room with a capacity of over 100 people for conferences and events, and common spaces such as a terrace and a dedicated area to encourage social interaction and refreshment, with the aim of create a very comfortable environment.
