Tehran, the Anglo-Iranian Nazanin sentenced to another year in prison. London: inhumane sentence

LONDON – She hoped to return home after five years in prison, but Iran continues to keep her prisoner. Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, the Anglo-Iranian citizen detained in Tehran since 2016, received a new sentence this morning to one year in prison for “anti-government propaganda”, to which must be added a year in which she will be forbidden to leave the country : in practice it should remain where it is until spring 2023.
