Tens of thousands of people took to the streets of Munich today, Sunday 21 January, to demonstrate against the German far-right AfD: too many according to the authorities, who canceled the demonstration. According to the organizers, 50 thousand people gathered in the city for the march, double the number registered. According to other estimates the figure would be even higher.
