Borussia Dortmund visits RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. There is a lot of bad news for the BVB line-up in advance.
Update, Saturday (April 27th), 2:35 p.m.: Now the BVB line-up is here. Coach Edin Terzic has to do without Marcel Sabitzer today. This is how the trainer set up:
Kobel – Wolf, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Ryerson – Özcan, Nmecha – Sancho, Brandt, Adeyemi – Füllkrug
Dortmund/Leipzig – Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig will fight in a direct duel for fourth place in the Bundesliga on Saturday (April 27th, 3:30 p.m.). Although both teams will probably qualify for the Champions League in the end, the coaches attach great importance to the game. However, things are not looking good for the Revierklub in terms of personnel. Edin Terzic has to do without up to five players in his BVB lineup.

In addition to the long-term injured Sebastien Haller and Ramy Bensebaini, captain Emre Can and Ian Maatsen are also certain to be out. Both received their fifth yellow card in BVB’s 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen last week and are therefore suspended.
Furthermore, Donyell Malen is still at risk of being left out of the BVB lineup against RB Leipzig. The Dutchman is still suffering from thigh problems. He still couldn’t train without pain. After all: Karim Adeyemi, an offensive player, is returning to the matchday squad.

Terzic is therefore once again forced to make several changes to the starting eleven. In the center of defense in front of goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, everything will probably remain the same. Mats Hummels and Nico Schlotterbeck are placed there.

The trainer has to rotate to the defensive wing in the BVB line-up against RB Leipzig due to Maatsen’s failure. At the matchday press conference on Friday (April 26th), when asked by RUHR24, he already indicated that Marius Wolf would be playing there. Julian Ryerson would accordingly move from the right to the left side of defense.

In the midfield center, two players, Felix Nmecha and Salih Özcan, are considered for the role alongside Marcel Sabitzer. However, a more defensive approach with Özcan in the lineup against RB Leipzig is more likely.
The only change to be expected in the offensive line is compared to the Leverkusen game. Karim Adeyemi could replace Jamie Bynoe-Gittens on the wing this time. On the other side and in the center are Jadon Sancho and Julian Brandt. Niclas Füllkrug will probably be able to spin again in the attack.
