It’s done! EHC Chur returns to the second highest league after 16 years. Thanks to a 4-2 away win in Langenthal, the Graubünden team won the quarter-final series 3-1. That’s enough for promotion because no other team from the MHL has applied for promotion.
The last chapter is not an easy one. After the 10-0 home win in game 3, the Chur team started like fire brigades in the Schoren. After goals from Marha and Berri, it was 2-0 for the guests after just 100 seconds. Just: The Langenthalers evened things out by the middle of the game.
Only in the final section does Chur make the decision. Halberstadt and Frei ensure the Chur cheers. Despite the promotion, the big party is still a long time coming. The goal is clear: the MHL title.
