Enoc González, a father in Paradise, Honduras, is seeking custody of his 11-year-old daughter after discovering she was sold by her mother for a car. The heartbroken father, who has been separated from the girl’s mother for eight years, expressed his shock and devastation over the situation.
In an interview with journalist Jorge Ramírez-Tendencia, Enoc González pleaded for the return of his daughter, stating, “I want them to give her to me so I can take her home… She is my blood.” He currently has custody of the girl’s two brothers.
The mother of the girl has been arrested, along with her current partner, after it was discovered they were receiving a vehicle and monthly cash payments in exchange for allowing a third person to sexually abuse the young girl. The minor is now in the custody of authorities from the Secretariat of Children, Adolescence, and Family (Senaf).
The horrific case has shocked the community in Paradise, with many rallying behind Enoc González in his fight for custody of his daughter. The investigation into the abuse of the young girl is ongoing, as authorities work to ensure justice is served for the victim and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
