The focus of the book are the mythical and legendary animals that have dotted Japanese culture for millennia: the half-raccoon, half-dog Tanuki, the Maneki Neko cat, the Akabeko red ox are just some of the protagonists of the legends reported in the book.

Biography: Gianmarco Bertone has always been passionate about art and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, specializing in Graphic and Motion Design.
He still works as a graphic designer for advertising agencies and companies and teaches graphics in private schools.
In her free time she dedicates herself to hiking with her dog Jack and planning trips to discover the world.
