BANGKOK – Four and a half months after the coup on 1 February in Burma, the different fronts of the initially peaceful revolt of the students and of the military regime, threatening and bloody from the beginning, are changing tactics and strategies. The clear trend is towards a guerrilla of resistance, especially in the cities, with bombs and murders, with an exponential growth in violent episodes contrasted with the sharp decrease in demonstrators armed only with placards who invaded the streets of many cities in February and April.
