Hu Xijin, the mouthpiece, immediately helped to show off that the Taliban are friends with China. This remark was scolded on the mainland Weibo platform, and netizens reprimanded, “Hu Bian is really ruining the three views!”
On July 6, the U.S. Central Command announced that the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan “has completed more than 90%.” However, the local extremist organization Taliban began to attack the city, and the situation is not optimistic. On the other hand, Beijing is ready to intervene in this war-torn country through the “One Belt, One Road” initiative to fill the vacuum left by the United States and NATO troops.
In order to drive the trend of public opinion in China, on the 9th, Hu Xijin, the editor-in-chief of the mouthpiece media “Global Times”, posted three Weibo posts in a row.
