Colombia and Brazil faced each other for the second date of the final quadrangular in the South American U-17 women’s tournament that is currently being played in Paraguayan territory. An important match for those led by Carlos Paniagua, who had just tied without goals against the locals on the first date.

Now the coffee makers faced their executioners from the initial phase, after the Brazilians beat the Colombians 4-0 on the last date.

The match was going to start in a positive way for the Colombian National Team, after in the 47th minute Nikol Rojas put the coffee makers ahead after having perfectly taken a penalty kick, which would partially put the runners-up in the world ahead.

Colombia continued trying to increase the lead against the ‘canarinhas’, and achieved it in the 50th minute, when the coffee player, Maithe López, took advantage of a header in the area after an error by the Brazil goalkeeper in a free kick.

However, things for Carlos Paniagua would end up ending badly, after at 61 and 62 minutes, Brazil would equalize the match in Paraguayan territory. Those responsible for putting the Verdeamarelas in the tie would be Juju Harris and Myka, who helped their team leave things that way.

In this way, Carlos Paniagua’s team equaled its second match in this final phase of the South American under 17, after a goalless draw against Paraguay on the first date. Now the Colombian National Team will seek its place in the World Cup next Sunday, March 31, when it faces Ecuador on the last date.
