Even though the switch is working again, there are still delays at Oslo S.

LATEST: The track switch works again, but you still have to expect delays and adjustments, Bane Nor informs at 10:45.

But from 10:32 another train is blocking traffic between Oslo S and Oslo Klufthavn Gardemoen, reports Bane Nor.

Queue by train

There have been major delays on trains to and from Oslo S in the direction of Drammen. Some departures have been cancelled.

As a result of the error, there were fewer tracks in use between Oslo S and the Nationaltheatret, so there was a long queue of trains heading towards Oslo.

The trains have been standing for a long time at Drammen station, before they are given the go-ahead to run, according to the train manager in Drammen.

– We run a single-track operation, says Bane Nor press officer Britt-Johanne Wang, on Monday morning.

Bane Nor recommended for a long time that the passengers should go for alternative transport.

– This affects all trains going through the Oslo Tunnel and it affects the trains going from Oslo S and beyond, says Wang.
