The International Atomic Energy Agency, whose head Rafael Grossi is in Tehran, has announced that it has reached an agreement with Iran on how to monitor the Iranian nuclear program. “The IAEA inspectors have the authorization to interview the employees and access the hard drives of the plants”, the Agency said.
The ban on monitoring video surveillance camera recordings remains, but Tehran has already pledged to provide it at a later date if the talks are successful to salvage the 2015 deal abandoned by Trump.
During his visit Grossi met Mohammad Eslami, the new head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
