Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original work “Look Back” will be made into a theatrical animation, and will be released in theaters nationwide from June 28, 2024. The trailer and main visual for this work have recently been released.

The trailer begins with a proud Fujino (CV: Yumi Kawai) being told by everyone in his class that he will become a manga artist in the future, and then with his classmate Kyomoto (CV: Mitsuki Yoshida), who is refusing to go to school. The story depicts how the two met, and how they began to draw together. Along with Fujino and Kyomoto’s impressive lines, a moving trailer packed with the highlights of this work has been completed. The theme song is “Light song” composed by musician Haruka Nakamura. Urara’s fleeting singing voice colors this work.
The main visual, which was also released, shows Fujino and Kyomoto standing shoulder to shoulder drawing a manga.

Animators and animation directors approach their works in a similar way to manga artists, and when I read the manga, I was able to deeply empathize with the story, and it also resonated with Mr. Fujimoto, who came to draw “Look Back.” There was something to do. That’s why I felt like I could make a movie that I could honestly face as a personal matter.
I am grateful to Mr. Fujimoto, a monster manga artist, who kindly lent me the original work, and I am aiming to create a film work that is a little different from manga, thinking that there are things that I can draw because I am an artist who has been in the world of animation expression. I am.
