WINDTRE and the Municipality of Andria yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of supporting the city’s transition towards the Smart City model.
The objective of the collaboration is to develop technological skills and design innovative solutions dedicated to local citizens and businesses to seize the sustainable development opportunities introduced by new technologies.

We are therefore happy to inaugurate this transformation path towards the smart city together with the Municipality of Andria”, he says Stefania Matrone, Director of Transformation & Development Office at WINDTRE. “Our company proposes itself, in fact, as an advisor to the administration to develop, thanks to a latest generation infrastructure and specific skills gained from experience in the field, a series of advanced and personalized services based on the needs of the territory, capable to simplify and improve the daily lives of citizens and businesses from a data driven management perspective”.
One of the ten concrete, measurable and business-integrated objectives of the WINDTRE sustainability plan is to put digital at the service of smart cities and design the green transition of Italian cities together with local administrations. For years, the company has been promoting solutions and projects aimed at accompanying the country towards a more sustainable and inclusive future and aims to achieve ambitious results in all three ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) dimensions by 2030. , in line with the UN 2030 Agenda.
