Therefore, she can probably expect some lucrative offers from the dream factory in the near future. One thing should now be on her table – for the remake of an absolute cult comedy.

However, we still have to place a strong qualification behind this report. Huller’s possible involvement is so far only an unconfirmed rumor. In addition, Richtman has blocked access to his exclusive report again, which could indicate that the offer fell through after all.
“The Naked Gun”: Reboot and Sequel
The new edition of “The Naked Gun” comes from director Akiva Schaffer and screenwriters Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. The trio recently impressed with the Disney meta-adventure “Chip and Chap – Knights of the Law”. Seth MacFarlane is also on board as a producer. The “Family Guy” creator has been trying to get a reboot of “The Naked Gun” with Neeson in the lead role for years.
Now it’s really becoming reality – probably with an approach that opens a completely new chapter, but still also refers to its predecessors. Neeson is supposed to play Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Nielsen’s former main character. Drebin and Presley’s Jane Spencer’s child is revealed at the end of The Naked Gun 33⅓.
But you shouldn’t expect classic continuity. After all, only 30 years have passed since the conclusion of the original trilogy, but Neeson is already 71. “The Naked Gun” is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2025. It should therefore soon be clear whether Hülser will really take on the second leading role.
