The Ones Who Lives showrunner heralds ‘incredibly satisfying ending’

After years of waiting, Rick Grimes finally returns to The Walking Dead universe tonight when The Ones Who Live premieres.

Now that the launch of the spin-off series is imminent, showrunner Scott Gimbal had a chat IGN about what fans can expect. In the interview, he was asked how the series will end and whether it will give a concrete conclusion to the story.

Gimbal to: “Well, I mean more possibilities, more questions. I think it’s a very satisfying ending to a story. But I think, you know, when series end, I hope that the audience’s imagination is always engaged and thinking, ‘Okay, well, what could happen next? And you can do that with this series, but I also think it’s an incredibly satisfying ending to a very long story.”
