Four episodes and 27 protagonists to tell many exemplary stories of society

Last January 15th at Palazzo Marino, headquarters of the Municipality of Milan, the podcast HAVE A NICE DEI was presented. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, much more than nice words.

HAVE A NICE GODS. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, much more than beautiful words

A choral story created by Schwa and brandstories, born from an idea by Helen Nonini, Founder & CEO of Schwa, which unites important brands and 27 representatives from the world of institutions together with athletes, artists, activists, writers and content creators.

With the narrative voice of Luca Trapanese, Ass. for Social Policies of the Municipality of Naples and activist and the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, the project sees the support of Fastweb and other important companies such as Coface, Generali, JAKALA and Valore D.

Divided into 4 episodes in which the themes of gender identity and orientation, ability and disability, generational comparison and mental well-being are addressed, the podcast addresses the issues of DE&I in a positive and simple way with the objective of bringing together people of all ages by overcoming generational barriers.

The narrator of the podcast is Luca Trapanese who is supported by pop personalities, artists, institutional figures and company representatives who, through their work, give new and original nuances to the theme of the episode, raising public awareness on each topic.

The podcast episodes

The first episode, created with Coface and Valore D and entitled Gender come noi, brings out the theme of the gender gap by trying to understand how to create a new world in which gender and sexual orientation are no longer a reason for discrimination. In the episode there are several guests including Mariano Gallo, who tells how he became Priscilla, the most famous Drag Queen in Italy, Federica Fabrizio, activist and author of the book “Femminucce” and Gustavo Conti, obstetrician with the pink coat who fights the stereotypes of a predominantly female profession.

Support for the project is in line with Fastweb’s “Tu sei Futuro” strategy which, in promoting digitalisation and environmental sustainability, enhances the role of people by breaking down stereotypes linked to gender, age, ethnicity and orientation sexual to create a climate of real inclusion. In the episode, to combat stereotypes on what “things for old people or things for young people” are, Licia Fertz also speaks. Her counterpart is Gaia Romani who, at just 25 years old, became councilor for civic and general services of the Municipality of Milan.
