The 32-year-old popular music singer Sebastián Muñoz is one of the victims of the most recent massacre that occurred in the country, in this case in the department of Cauca.
As it became known, the musician left Cali after receiving a call for a private presentation in the northern Cauca municipality of Corinto.

According to preliminary information handled by the authorities, armed men entered the house and murdered Muñoz and three other people.
Another of the victims was identified as JJ Villegas, an announcer from Corinto, and the singer’s right-hand man. He was a DJ and presenter of the artist’s shows.

“With deep pain, the manager and his work team officially announce that the artist Sebastián Muñoz and his presenter on stage, DJ JJ Villegas, died on the night of April 26 in confusing events in the municipality of Corinto,” said the team of musician’s press through a statement.
Authorities have not yet given the names of the other two people who lost their lives in the attack.
It was also known that a woman had been injured, who was taken to a care center.

Sebastián Muñoz was a renowned popular music singer, also known as the king of parties and the lion of song.
Originally from Dagua, Valle del Cauca, he was born on October 3, 1981. Since he was a child he was passionate about music and was building his own style in the northern Colombian popular genre, allowing him to enjoy great recognition, thanks to numerous performances, especially in the department of Cauca.
