CHANCE – Here is a player who was a little luckier than the others. The jackpot of 166 million euros from the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday April 30 has fallen.
The lucky winner, who now has 60 days to make themselves known, has validated their ticket in France. He had checked the numbers 13, 22, 24, 33 and 47, as well as the two lucky stars 5 and 1.
Despite the importance of the sum, this is not the largest gain recorded on French territory (including overseas). In October 2021, a Tahitian woman won 220 million euros in EuroMillions. She then played for the first time in her life, validating a “flash” grid, when the machine chose the numbers itself.
240 million euros, the absolute record
The biggest win in the history of European gambling was won in Austria last December: 240 million euros, the maximum prize pool ceiling, for one person who had bought 20 grids on the Win2day website, allowing you to play several gambling games in the country.
