Cuban Migrants Arrested in Mexico After Being Found in Overcrowded House
A group of Cubans, along with migrants from Guatemala and El Salvador, were recently discovered crammed into a house in the municipality of Chalchicomula de Sesma, Mexico. Local authorities received an anonymous call alerting them to the situation and quickly responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, police found around 270 individuals in overcrowded conditions, with most of them claiming to have been waiting at the house for more than four days. These migrants had allegedly been abandoned by smugglers who were supposed to transport them to the United States.
The group of undocumented immigrants was transferred to the facilities of the Municipal Presidency for medical treatment. Authorities from the National Migration Institute and the National Guard were also notified to take charge of the legal situation of the migrants.
This incident sheds light on the struggles faced by migrants seeking better opportunities in the United States. It also highlights the dangers and challenges associated with illegal immigration and human trafficking. The investigation into this case is ongoing as authorities work to ensure the safety and well-being of these individuals.
