The National Civil Police (PNC) reported the arrest of a subject who has an arrest warrant issued in 2017 for the crime of attempted homicide. This is the subject identified as José Alcides Arias Reyes, 28 years old, who was captured in Nueva Esparta, in the department of La Unión.
In the capture procedure, two pistols were seized from him that will be analyzed by the authorities to determine if they have been used in other crimes. Furthermore, since he does not have any document of the legality of these weapons, he will also be prosecuted for illegal possession of a firearm.
