The Church of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Maracaibo, Zulia, was the target of a theft recently, as reported by municipal security secretary David Barroso. The crown of the Virgin of La Milagrosa was taken, prompting authorities to launch operations with the Zulia police to track down the perpetrators.
