In a house in Medellín, alias La Madrina, known as the ‘European Griselda Blanco’, was arrested for her ties to the most dangerous cartels in Serbia. The woman was an intermediary between the European mafias and the Gulf Clan.

According to the authorities’ investigations, the woman would have been the victim of five attacks against her by European mafias, for which reason she would have returned to Medellín, where she was finally arrested.

Police investigators confirmed that the woman has a long criminal record of more than 20 years.

“La Madrina” established relations with Dairo Antonio Úsuga, also known as Otoniel, who at that time was the criminal leader of the Gulf Clan, in order to send drugs to the cartels of the Balkan Peninsula.

“Drug traffickers sought his advice and permission to traffic cocaine to Europe from Colombia. Then he formed a very large organization of more than 170 people,” explained the investigator of the case in Noticias Caracol.

The frequent attacks against him made him decide to come to Colombia in 2020, trying to safeguard his integrity, but continuing with his criminal actions.
