Quarter-final drawing results Thomas Cup 2024 on Wednesday (1/5) evening China confirmed that Indonesia would meet South Korea.
The Indonesia vs Korea quarter-final match of the 2024 Thomas Cup will take place at the Hi-Tech Zone Sports Center Gymnasium, Chengdu, China on Friday (3/5).
Indonesia is certain to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 2024 Thomas Cup as winners of Group C after sweeping three matches with a win. Meanwhile, Korea was runner up in Group A with two wins and one loss.

In the final match of Group C, Indonesia successfully slaughtered India with a score of 4-1 on Wednesday (1/5).
In the first match between Indonesia vs India, Red and White men’s singles, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, lost 21-13, 12-21, 12-21 to Prannoy.
Then Indonesia managed to achieve four consecutive wins over Indian representatives through the men’s doubles Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Jonatan Christie, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo.
Bagas/Fikri won 24-22, 22-24, 21-19 over Indian doubles Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty in the second match.
Then Jonatan Christie successfully beat Indian men’s singles Lakshya Sen 21-18, 16-21 and 21-17.
Then Leo/Daniel won 22-20, 21-11 over the Indian pair Dhruv Kapila/Sai Pratheek.
Then in the last match Indonesia vs India, Chico won 19-21, 24-22, 21-14 over Kidambi Srikanth. This victory ensured that Indonesia won 4-1 over India in the 2024 Thomas Cup.
Next, Indonesia will appear in the 2024 Thomas Cup quarter-finals against South Korea on Friday (3/5).
